Do not ask other students to return the item(s) for you.

This is a wonderful opportunity for us to continue to learn and grow together as a kind and helpful community.

Congratulations to our Leaders of the week chosen by Mrs. Rivas:  Joel Morales and Mae Havlicek

Joel Morales

An extraordinary language learner, Joel never fails to display 100% effort with every class he takes part in.  His attentiveness and eagerness to learn is quite impressive. He always participates and is fully engaged when given a new challenge. His resourcefulness is one of his many positive characteristic traits that demonstrate his true leadership qualities.  Most importantly, he treats everyone with care, respect, and kindness. And last but not least, for his unwavering determination this year to complete and hand in any missed work to my desk the minute he returns to school, I applaud all of your hard work and the efforts you have made this year to show me exactly who you are, a wonderful human being.  For all of this, I have joyfully chosen you as my fabulous leader of the week. Bravo, Joel!

Mae Havlicek

A phenomenal language learner that always brings her A game when she enters my classroom along with her gentle smile.  Her flexibility to work with a classmate at any given time without any sign of distress is quite remarkable. Her willingness to take risks and gracefully learn from her mistakes is a great combination. One of her strengths is her keen sense of awareness of her space and others around her. Her wonderful disposition combined with her hard work ethic make her a well rounded student. In addition, she has the neatest handwriting and she takes a lot of  pride in her work. Most importantly, she is a very thoughtful young lady that shows respect and gratitude daily with her polite greetings.  She always steps into her highest potential and is wise beyond her years. Thank you for always taking the initiative without hesitation. It is with great honor that I recognize you as one of my fabulous leaders of the week. Bravo, Mae!
