The Neersyde is currently in its sixth year of publication. The official news source for The Benjamin Middle School, The Neersyde is in its infancy as an online site. However, the publication’s faculty advisers, Mr. Nicholas Crisafi and Dr. Tina James, felt that moving the paper exclusively online was another step in proving The Benjamin School’s commitment to being a greener and more sustainable school. This publication is part of Crisafi’s and James’ Journalism & Web Media course which is also responsible for producing the middle school yearbook (Azimuth) and literary magazine (The Insyde) on an annual basis.
