Fall Sports Awards Honor Outstanding Athletes

Mr. Mullnix presents an sixth grader Jack Savery with the Most Improved Player Award for football.

On Monday, December 14, the Middle School held its annual Fall Sports Awards Assembly. Emceed by Middle School Athletic Director Mr. Toby Harbeck, he praised the season’s crop of coaches and players for their hard work and commitment. Harbeck made special note of the sixth-grade football team which, after starting 0-3, won their next three games to earn a “bowl” game which they won in the final seconds on a pass play they had not converted all season.

In addition, Harbeck also recognized all of the middle school varsity athletes who not only had to make their respective teams, but had to be a “starter or significant contributor to the team.” The following is a list of the fall season’s individual award winners:
