Eighth Grade Trip to Washington D.C. Slideshow

The entire eighth grade class poses in front of Mount Vernon

For the eighth grade class every year, life is paradise! After being the little kid and middle child in their life as a middle schooler, it is nice to be at the top of the food chain. However, that is not the only privilege of being an eighth grader. Every middle schooler at TBS knows that one of the highlights of their middle school career is the annual eighth grade trip to this nation’s capitol, Washington D.C.!  This year the 2015-2016 eighth grade class set off on the field trip-or “moving classroom” as most teachers like to refer to it- on November 2. The four day and three night trip (ending November 5) packed in all kinds of events, from visiting monuments, to witnessing incredible events like the laying of the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. Take a look at these pictures of the 2015-16 eighth grade trip to Washington D.C. to see all the fun the eighth grade and faculty had!
